15-16 March 2008. James Low teaching in Macclesfield at the former Khandroling Buddhist Centre.
James Low has taught Buddhism every year since 2003 at a Buddhist centre in Macclesfield. Details are at http://www.kunpanling.org.
He begins these 2 days of teaching by saying, "We have a bit of time today and tomorrow to look at the general preliminary practices in Tibetan Buddhism. What I want to do is to try to show how these can be taken up and made use of within the general frame of the Dzogchen view." These practices are referred to as 'ngondro' in Tibetan Buddhism and a complete cycle consists of doing each practice 100,000 times.
The audio version of this can be listened to and downloaded at http://audio.simplybeing.co.uk/2008/0...
