James begins on page 12 of the English version, speaking of rigpai yeshe, natural wisdom, and the 'houses' of wisdom and compassion. Human knowledge is not in the house of wisdom. If you understand this then it gives you the guiding line for meditation, since meditation does not reply on thought.
